PROFILE

About Me

I’m a Network Engineer focused on building and maintaining high-performance, resilient network infrastructure in complex environments. My experience spans advanced routing and transport technologies including BGP, OSPF, IS-IS, EVPN, VXLAN, MPLS, and L3VPN, working across platforms such as Juniper, Fortinet, Cisco, Ciena, and Nokia. I work hands-on in production networks where stability, scalability, and rapid troubleshooting are critical. I specialize in diagnosing complex issues, optimizing routing behavior, and designing networks that perform under pressure. Whether it’s resolving outages, improving convergence, or scaling infrastructure, I bring a practical, results-driven approach to everything I do.

PROJECTS

Infrastructure & Delivery

Redesigned/Implemented Video Network

Redesigned a legacy video transport network that was running on unsupported hardware, lacked sufficient throughput, and had no real redundancy despite supporting video delivery across the entire footprint. Re-architected the environment from the ground up with scalability and high availability as core priorities, deploying Juniper QFX5120-48Y switches with 100G uplinks directly into the core using aggregated Ethernet (AE) for future expansion. Implemented a structured access layer using stacked Juniper EX4400 switches, eliminating daisy-chaining and bottlenecks by leveraging proper VLAN distribution and uplink design. This resulted in a more efficient, scalable, and manageable network architecture. Additionally, redesigned the video distribution model by regionalizing feeds to isolate failures. This ensured that outages (such as power events) would only impact specific regions rather than the entire footprint. These improvements increased overall network uptime from approximately 70% to 99.99% while significantly enhancing performance, resiliency, and operational simplicity.
